My name is Laverne F, and I have been in the home care profession for the past 30 years. My motivation for caring for others has always been to help them lead independent lives, and I have always strived to provide them with the best possible level of care and support that they require. What has kept me going for three decades in this profession is the satisfaction I receive from seeing the difference I make in the lives of my clients.
I have NVQ 2 and 3 in health and social care. Team leading diploma and apprentership and diploma in management.
I have undergone dementia training.

I am a caring, friendly, and helpful individual who always puts the needs of my clients first. My top priority is to ensure my clients are comfortable, safe and happy with the care I provide. I have experience caring for individuals with various conditions such as mild cognitive impairment, bedbound, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. My skills include bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship.
Outside of work, my hobbies include walking, cooking, and baking. I enjoy spending time completing puzzles, socializing with friends and family, and playing board games. I am also okay with pets.
